The Music
I’m a jack of many trades but I especially love music. I’m quite fortunate to be the worship leader for Basilica, a church plant in Southeast Houston. Over the years, I’ve been in a number of bands and lead worship at a couple of churches and youth groups.
Now, I’m stepping out and doing something new and different. It’s me, my guitar and my songs… and sometimes my amazing drumming friend Jody Wayne Willis.
Check out some of my songs on this page and expect to see me soon!
Little Girl
This song is about a conversation I often have with God. I think feelings of insufficiancy and an insecurity about how we act or how we look often plague women (or am I the only one who struggles with this?). And it’s no wonder – our culture has placed high demands upon women. We want to be noticed by the men around us and we want to be seen as beautiful and worthy of affection. But we can rest in the assurance that Christ is everything for us that we cannot be and our Father’s opinion is the opinion above all other opinions, and for those in Christ when God sees us He sees His perfect, beautiful Son. We are lacking nothing. We are more than what the world would have us be. We are loved perfectly by Him who made us.
Made Alive
This song I wrote for Basilica, describing the Spirit’s active role in bringing dead sinner’s to life, pulling us from the darkness like you pull water from the darkness of a well. Monergism, baby!

Very beautiful music I must say. Have you ever thought about having it professionally recorded? I think you should.
Someday I would definitely love too! Thanks for the encouragement.
